That's very good. Just keep practicing.

 

That's very good for a beginner. Remember, you will have ups and downs, so don't get discouraged if the results are not exactly what you want them to be. Just keep drawing. You will see improvement if you do, and that's what we are all working towards.

Thank you all for your kind words and encouragement...I will keep working at it but I need to stop trying to draw too quickly...I guess I need patience😊

 

If you use something larger to draw or paint with, you can get through it more quickly, but you still have to know the basics. Sketching helps you learn. You might try a graphite stick or pastel. If you go for a looser style you can draw a dog quicker, but you still have to know the basic shapes and where the shading is and so on. Keep scrolling through YouTube and try anything that looks interesting. You might discover a style that suits you better. Everybody is different.
