so I am looking through someone's album.. I go through maybe 10 or so pictures... and all the the sudden this white page pops up saying advertisement.. and it will redirect me back to the site in 30 seconds?

I don't mind the ads on the page... but I don't like redirects.. no sir.. not at all.. this can lead to problems. Is there a way around this? Has anyone else had this happen? This is the first time in a LOT of browsing on this site it has happened to me.

Thanks

Well I was thinking that maybe one of Schooljerk's pictures has some hidden link that would redirect but I checked all his pictures and there is none.

I will send a note to the admin about this and see what they say. As I said in an earlier thread...our support from the admins leave a lot to be desired.

Do you recall what the advertisement you were redirected to was? Also was it a pop-up or was your page actually changed to be on the advertises site?

Please if this happens to anyone else, let me know so I can document it for the admins.

Hello everyone,

Which browsers are you using when the redirect occurs and would it be possible for you to take a screenshot of the page when it appears again? I looked around Schooljerk's album on Chrome and the redirect did not occur.

Thanks for the help!

Thanks so much for taking time to look at this Kay. I was using Firefox when this occured. It was looking at the album Schooljerk has.. but on the automated page (Where you click next picture, previous picture etc.) It was after about 6 or 7 pictures that it happened.

Hope that Helps

Yes.. I tried to recreate it today as well and couldn't. I even tried "accidentally" clicking on links etc.. nothing made it do the same thing.. perhaps just a one time fluke like Terry said.

Thanks Lee!

I thought it might have been browser add on on Eddie's computer.. because I haven't noticed it on mine and I have used 3 different browsers to access the site. Great info on the removal tool.. Appreciate it!
