@TerryCurley! I started out drawing but after following Terry's work, I just had to start painting. My other influences after I got started are Bob Ross of course, Ben Saber and Clive because of their tutorials. I don't spend much time looking at the old masters stuff but out of all of them so far, Monet has struck a chord in me. I want to recreate some of his work and also Thomas Kinkade. I love brilliant colors.

explain why and who are your influences, in how and why you paint today?
My main influences are Wilson Bickford, Bob Ross, Gary Jenkins, and Stephan Bauman. All because of their tutorials and the work they produce. I love looking at the classics by Rembrandt and Monet, but I can't say they influence my work. Van Gogh however I have tried to do one of his paintings just because I thought I would be able to, but to be honest I'm not very fond of his work.

As a retired tattooist my influences were, in the UK Dave Ross like me a free hand tattooist from Colchester, fat bob in Ipswich both great tattooists for different reasons Dave was freehand ( nothing traced all original work, which is what I did) Bob was a great transfer artist, apart from tattooists, Archibald Thornburn OMG the greatest animal painter of all time, or Russel Flint the greatest water colour, pencil artist to have ever lived .
