White Orchids is one of my favorite pieces. This is one of the first pieces a done on Black with white charcoal and it turned out beautifully. I did a few others that I will share later.

Thank you for the comment. I used to try and use the white paper to bring out the highlights. After doing some in a class my professor asked me to try the white charcoal on black so, I did.

I also have only a few hand full and they turned out awesome but there is something about this particular piece that I like more.

That is very effective, I like how simple this drawing is but yet it captures something special. The red really finishes it off. I thing that i will have to try something like this.
