What should I do to improve this and add on to it? It's metal wire and a baked Sculpey clay base.

What was your goal with this initally?

I am not really sure what to do with it and what medium to use, I thought of covering the branches with clay and making clay leaves but I feel it will be too fragile.

Do they still make tinsel? I really don't know. If you could get some light(in weight) tinsel perhaps you could use that to make the illusion of leaves? Just a thought.

You could do a wire wrap ...so buy more wire, thinner than this one of course and some little stones or even glass and shape it as a tree.http://happyhourprojects.com/wire-wrapped-tree/

What if you cross between the wires some strings or very thin rope (Don't know how it's exactly called that, but you get the idea ) ??

I don't know, it may come something interesting and if it doesn't... you only need to take it away and it's not that expensive or difficult xD And you can try lot of combinations too
