To me it shows a picture in progressive stages of completion. This will requires showing segments to be posted in development. I want to see how the artist draws each piece. Only seeing each piece completed does no more good than showing the final picture completed.

Not exactly sure what it is you are saying. Are you saying you don't want people posting completed works unless they also post pics in it's various stages of being painted?

No, that is not what I was saying. I don't think that it's useful as a work in progress unless it shows how the picture is developed. Showing it in segments with each segment completed is no more useful than just showing the final picture and therefore should not be presented as a WIP.

I considered it to mean, "Here's what I have so far." How does one show stages in progress without video? Not trying to frustrate you, but I don't believe I understand.

I am not making it clear. I will try once more. It can be shown with photos. Take a picture of each stage or segment of the picture before you complete it. For example, if you're drawing a face from left to right, don't just post photos of it finished from right side of the face to the nose. Show me the segment incomplete. I don't want to see what could be the final version with a piece of cardboard covering part of the picture.
