Hi, I am trying to paint a Claudia Nice ink drawing using Rotring rapidographs. It is the fat hairy cat found in "Painting your favourite animal in pen, ink & watercolor", p.77.
My problem is that even when using the 0.1 pen I am unable to reproduce lines as thin as in the original. They are so fine and delicate as to look almost unsubstantial, yet together they convey the exact impression of furry coat. Am I doing anything wrong, or is there any method to draw thinner, more delicate points and lines?
All help appreciated!
