So i am a new member, happy to join the forums and all that stuff. I am 18, i have been seriously practicing drawing for around one month now. I did all kinds of doodles in my school notebooks for years now, though....so i guess that kind of counts? No? Ok. I am usually serious, sacrastic "wise cracking in a monotonous way" type of person. Anyway, i mainly use pencils (totally not because that's all i have access to atm), but i do want to learn pen and ink in the future, as well.

My goal is comics, i guess, so i am practicing writting on the side, as well (also coding, cause i have my eye on the video game industry, in the future...i know i have lots of goals, but hey, i am still young!). I don't have a scanner yet, so i can't share my current drawings, but i am planning to get one soon (i was also thinking about just getting a drawing tablet instead, but i am not so sure about that).

So, that about sums it up. As mentioned, happy to be here and am looking forward to sharing, and hopefully improving my own art in the proccess, with you all.

Hi marko! :welcome: ! also a newbie comic creator here but not the serious type of stories yet..I used to be an I.T. student but I gave up programming so I'm now pushing myself with designing or any stuff that is about art...Being young means more time to learn new things! ^ 3 ^ anyway, the people here are very friendly so it's good to stick around..looking forward to see your works

Just one question, being new here as well as to drawing itself, and all that...Is there any particular place here where i can ask general questions about drawing? I have a few on my mind....Should i just go to a specific drawing forum (in my case, graphite drawing), or is there a more suitable place for such questions from a begginer such as me?

Either Graphite Drawing or Art Talk is what I would choose.
