Here is my drawing of a tiger. It is the first time I drew one so I didn't know how long the body is in proportion to the head to tail length of 11 ft. I tried to get all the stripes in without it being too crowded so that is why it is a little long. I even have the dewclaw and the thin stripes where the whiskers are.

Some of the stripes might be hard to see but they are there.

This is a pretty good tiger Caters. You did the stripes very well and the color blending is wonderful. She has some flaws but all my pictures do also. What I often do is paint (or draw) the same subject over and over until I feel that I have gotten it to the quality I want it. Currently I'm working on my fourth try at a geranium plant. Practice pays off big time when it comes to art.

If you choose to do another tiger I think it would be less noticeable to the viewer to have put in less stripes and made the body just a bit more compact.

Are you using a reference photo for this one? I find a photo of the subject invaluable when painting. I don't think I could do it otherwise..

Hmm that's cool! Nice tiger.

Well, as you noticed, it's body ended up a bit long, but it's okey ^^

One thing I would like to say is, where are his other 2 legs :( ? Jajajajaja
You may see in the picture, that even if he is only standing there and we have a side view, we can see his other 2 legs.

Notice that they are visible, maybe not completely, but they are there, very close to the other leg, and their long end just a bit before.

Give it a try for the next one if you want ^^

May I ask why the paper is so crumpled? It's important to keep our artwork as neat as possible. Otherwise, the tiger looks pretty good... But as already pointed out you might try to get the other two legs in

I think you have a good grasp of what a tiger should look like. I do agree with your momma that the body should be shorter and you could add a couple legs however..overall you have done a nice job. Keep at it!
Add 3 legs.. that would be unique.. LOL! Seriously.. looks pretty good for a first attempt.. pay attention to details and your model
