I just took the last tip of the 3 in use which come with the tablet, and my friend wondered how they wear so fast when I use them. She definitely uses her tablet more, so it'd be logical for her pen tips to wear faster. We both have tablet from same manufacturer and our tablet pens use the same tips. We both draw and play osu! with the tablet. She draws a lot more than I do (she usually does ~3 pictures in the time it takes for me to make one), and she plays osu! by "dragging" the pen on the tablet, while I play by "hovering" the pen over the tablet. This doesn't quiet make sense...

Note: Even though osu! is not art related, I mentioned it as it is also one more use to the tablet.

you could increase the sensitivity and use the pen lighter....

or do what I do and buy a roll of strimmer wire or (weed hacker wire) from your hardware store for £2/$2 that does the exact same thing that branded nibs do, but 1 roll will last you a lifetime.
simply cut it to the exact same length as a new nib and it will slide in perfectly

use a fine sand paper - I use a nail file to round off the tip to a nice shape, I prefer making my own nibs as I can get some cool shapes! like marker ones or fine ones if I want
Someone did the math:
10 nibs for £10/$10
or 2,933 pen nibs with one package of trimmer line for £2/$2

wait what? I'm talking about physical nibs.... is your mobile phone a touch screen?
if so test it out on that.
if you have the cash, photoshop 10 or CS6 is the best.

Hi meli it's not a phone it's a 9.7 inch tablet, but I have a xperia x 10 phone can I do it on that (although the screen is so small it would be no good for me)

yes I'm sure you can do it on the 9.7 one, if you can use a normal tablet pen then you can use the strimmer wire =)
