This is what I did during the few hours I was able to snag to myself Saturday. I have to decide if I want the white space to be a closed wall, a mirror, an entrance to another room, or something else. It has a ways to go before I'm satisfied with it but it feels like a nice start.

Absolutely love it. Yes I would say it is an excellent start. The colors are stunning. I love bright colors in pictures.

Thanks, hopefully I'll get some time this week to continue. I originally decided to do watercolor but haven't used them in so long some need to be replaced. The paper sucks up the markers but oh well. I usually use a smoother Bristol for markers. The texture of the watercolor paper is still fun to work with though.

I suppose I'm ready to shelf this one. It was fun to play with but overall I'm not thrilled with it. I may do this style again using paint. I think it would be fun to do in oils.
