PVA Glue or RSG

Hi Everyone
Anyone used either PVA Glue or Rabbit Skin Glue on Wood Panels?
I mean using it before applying some sort of Ground like Gamblin Oil Painting Ground and then applying Gesso.
Which is better? PVA or RSG? Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
