I've seen some work on this site that has been made using software such as Paper Artist. It's not hard to spot. I have counted four users (I won't identify them) that are definitely faking it. I wonder why. Is it the anonymity of the internet?

Good question. I have never even heard of Paper Artist..will have to investigate!

I would bet I know who one of them is..the answer to that question for that person is simple - money.

At best if these artists are using this software they are still artists to a degree but depending on how they depict their art or for better words hide the fact of what they produce will say volumes about how they want people to view them as artists.

The art that is not art is only viewed by people who have not created it...

They're almost just like college students downloading essays off the internet and passing them off as their own...almost, because these little posers won't make the grade.

Reminds me of someone who begs for likes on a photo on facebook. How does someone feel good about their art if they must beg for likes?
