That's so great. Pastel is one of my favorites in my art. In addition to their simplicity and portability, one of the most favored properties of pastels is their luminosity. I feel that pastel colors create stillness and peace in my lives.

I love the effects acheived with pastels. Do you fix the surface to stop smudging or just avoid anything touching it?

I put them in tracing paper pad, so nothing touches it.
