I completed this drawing in 40 minutes of scribbling with black Staedtler 0.05 and 0.5 pigment liner pens. Odd thing is they draw best on cheap copier paper! That suits me fine Always laminate the finished picture anyway, to preserve it. Tinted it blue in a photo app called PhotoToaster.

Hope this inspires someone to give it a try. Absolutely love these pens and have plenty more portraits planned in the future.

Do these pens run when wet? My inks stay dry.. if the Staedtlers stay dry.. try using a light blue watercolor wash after you ink it.
