A little about myself...I remember being a creative kid, and even took art in school, but didn't pick it back up again until recently. So far I mostly do pencil sketches, mandalas, (their fun), and just doodling out of boredom. My husband is disabled, so I take care of him and our 2 dogs, and 1 onery kitty. That about sums it up.

Welcome! Glad to have you here. Really enjoy your artwork! You would get get along great with Dreamcatcher who also does some pretty amazing work along the lines of what you do.

Just an fyi. When you upload a picture please put a description under it...otherwise the system goes wacky and doesn't let others see your work. It's really easy to just go back in and edit your image and put a little note about what you have done.

Thank you, I have fun with the Mandala, they make me use my brain.
I have a dumb query....I haven't really got the posting a new thread thing down yet. Is there a list of forums somewhere I'm not seeing, or a certain page to go to? Both times I've done it, I've basically found a "post new thread" button by chance.

Click on the category name not the forum name. for example -- in this case it would be 'Introduction'. When you click on a category don't go into a thread right away. If you look hard you will see a little box over the list of threads that says "newthread". The box couldn't possibly be any smaller I think. I had trouble finding it at first.

Welcome to the forum Toriya. Your English is just fine and we are glad you joined our group.

I looked at your album "My Life" and saw very interesting photos of your life. I hope you post some close up pictures of your paintings. The couple od photos of your pictures such as the Canyon one and the where you are painting the Old Time Gate shows that you are at a Master Level.

I do painting by oil and arcylics too, but I am not a professional and have only been painting for a year. I find that being on this forum gives me lots of good tips to improve my work, which needs a lot of improvement.
