Hi. I'm 63, retired, never had any other experience with art other than an appreciation for it, and now I've decided to learn how to sketch. That is where I'm starting anyway. I hope to become an artist with pencil and then move on with charcoal. Took it up this spring, and so far so good. I'm having fun this summer going out to the lake and sketching landscapes. I hope that some day I can come here and share what I know with others, but for now, I'm just learning.
