My mother left me a charcoal picture. I could not begin to know how to break it down. I can not read the artist signature nor could I really tell you what it is. The paper is also odd....so I am hoping that someone will look at this and give me any tips or ideas on...Thanks

looks like the paper might be a type of Japanese washi...we have some that looks very similar from what I see in the picture.
