Materials needed for beginner

hello all. I would like to try my hand in sculpting. I am following a guy on facebook and I have been really motivated by him. Here's a link to his page in just in case you want to see what I'm talking about.

His sculptures seem like something I would like to try. I would take a class for it but I have no time for it as I am currently in school, work full time and my wife and I just welcomed a new baby boy a few months back.

I would like to do this on my free time just like I'm doing with painting. I just need some help starting out. Can anyone offer me any suggestions on the basic materials I would need to start? I would probably try sculpting my dogs (a pit bull and a chihuahua) and maybe some busts of indians. These are just ideas of what I may want to sculpt.

Any videos and any other material you can offer would be greatly appreciated as well. Thanks!

Roland

It depends on what medium you are using to sculpt with. You could try doing a google search using the name of the medium or just type in the question you want to ask into Google.
Also try doing a similar search on YouTube.
