Here's a couple of mandalas I'm working on. Both are farther along than the pics posted. Will get some new pics before I go any further.

I'm doing the giraffe in watercolor pencils...which is way different than watercolors. :wink:

The other mandala is drawn on a scrapbook sheet from hobby lobby.

Okay, so I lied. The giraffe is regular watercolors , not the pencils. Here's where I'm at right now. Should finish it tonight.
@Melody Jeoulex I've done several mandalas with straight lines...actually plan to do more of them. They have more of a geometric look to them. :biggrin:

It's a great mandala, I love the colors. Funny how so many people are doing giraffes lately. The universal mind must be thinking about giraffes and a bunch of people a tuning in to it.

It's hard to get a good pic where I sit, because of the overhead lamp I use. You photographers could probably help. I might need to take them outside for a more realistic pic.

I usually like to take my pictures out side to get photos of them. But sometimes the lighting is actually too much outside.
