I am making a paint software and sometime i drawing with it to test the features, it's the picture below, a picture of the last upgrade.

I wanted to draw with an ereader 10 years ago and in 2018 i began to make an online paint program to do that, it's strange in my brain to be on the both side the programmer and the artist.

I wanted a paint software as other software on the artist market with lot of tools, trace circles, elipse, use different size of brushes, have some some layers even if it's in black and white and gold rules to help me in my drawing process.

At the beginning i wanted a program to show a picture on a Eink device ( Eink is the brand who make panels of ereaders ), something as CG a program to compute pixels and render them on a monitor and after one second have a picture. And a day a company improved the refresh rate at 15 frames per second now we are between 33 and 44 for bigger ereader in term of size and price. Some panels of Eink go from 3 inch to 75 inch and i thought why not to create a real software rather just little paint app or a video game.

Then i added feature as to do a flip book and a better timeline to do 2d animation.
Even if sometime online on social network i promote my software as a 2d animation software, i have not animation to show, the software have enough feature to draw a correct animation but each time i am correcting or improving a tool.

A big test of different tools and a big test to manage lot of points to fill area with colors at the end of spring.

the problem each point of color can be static as here for one frame, or dynamic for each frame of the time line. My software have some feature as this even if the graphic interface can disturb at the first time, i hesitate often to copy for normal LCDmonitor the graphic interface in black gray, light-gray with text in in white and some spot of colors and blue buttons.

so the link of my project: https://animation-software.com/

thanks artistforum admins to accept me here

Interesting. I've been looking at reviews for E-Ink tablets from time to time.
I noticed that the refresh rate when copying or deleting parts of an image
leaves a lot to be desired. How does this work with your tool?

You wrote that you wrote an online painting program. So it should work with
any computer? Or have I missed something?

As for me, I don't see any reason to switch to an E-Ink device. Especially
because of the software available for "normal" computers.
What are your reasons, if I may ask?

For desired pixel or called ghost pixels, in fact eink devices refresh the entire device in black and after in white, some device work as that. After, there is a big difference between old tablets 15 years ago and recent tablets and too with a tablet under 100$ and a tablet nears 1000$ in term of size and and components as processor and ram. I remember i paid an owner of the "onyx boox max" my software was very slow that not worked. I bought the recent tablet "onyx boox tabX" I can draw fluently.

I tried to see a film on a Dasung PaperLikeHD a Eink Monitor 113inch, 3 years ago, i saw a film in gray scale, it was impossible 15 years ago.

To be honest the market of Eink panels decreased drastically for the covid, now that restart with new devices every six month and i am not being to buy every devices who appear on the market, lot of device have not stylus, have not enough ram and not enough famous processor to run a big software and often have not web browser. That limit my market for my software.

After my software run under Firefox, Safary, Edge on a computer with classical operating system.
