I have twelve books of pen and pencil drawings depicting landscapes and historical buildings. They are dated from 1928 to 1964 and cover a large and varied area of Great Britain. I bought them from a second hand place in Chesterfield Derbyshire about four years ago. The only clue to the artist is a few of the 1920s drawings have the initials W W and the book has the name Ann Hather on the front cover. I was just wondering if anyone could shed any light on the matter. I would like to have traced the artist purely out of curiosity.

Hello Just. I wouldnt know if they are particularly valuable but they have certainly been someones lifetime passion. I dont imagine they would be worth anything, but they are nice to look at and I can appreciate the amount of time and effort it took to get to these places. They are not the typical places you would expect people to sketch ( there is one of the church in our tiny Yorkshire Village ). Would like to know more about the artist if possible.
