Odd thoughts going thru my head... Went out to Diz a few days ago cuz I'd heard Wilderness Lodge was being renovated. Possible work since I was one of the originals who made it. Mural paint - me. So I find out 3 of my 21 year old paintings were to be soon destroyed. Gone. Hookayyy! I've been a whore here for of a quarter century... Accustomed to the temporary nature of artwork. Its only to attract money, right? Wow the tourists so they enjoy, spend & tell others. Watched an X-wing fighter I'd painted get gone too. 30 feet long! Many props! Whatever... But these murals hit my brain kinda hard. I was proud of them! Gazillions of people have enjoyed them over the decades. Gone... New blood says make the walls all cream & put posters of attractions up. Think any hill type offices. Drones. So these three paintings will be no more soon.

I love these murals and I can imagine it makes you sad to know they will soon be gone. But they gave so much joy to so many people for 21 years. Probably multiple millions of people have viewed them. You have racked up a bunch of good karma from them. Any time we in some way cause another soul to feel joy we get a merit point with the Higher Power in charge.
