I've been an ink guy for a lot of years, but my high school art teacher (she's 95 years young now, I spoke with her a couple of months ago) advised me to start doing color. She said a lot of people automatically walk away from black and white art, no need to lose their business if you don't have to.

So I spent twelve hours drawing the Beatles this last week. Then, I did something which scared me silly. I applied watercolor over the top of them.

Here's the result. Thoughts?

I think it's awesome!!! I see this a lot on Instagram with mandalas, but done in reverse. Watercolor put down, then the ink.
