With me it is the other way around usually. However I'm into art for only a few months at this point in time I have a history of tinkering and life hacking and whenever I'm in love streams of ideas flow out of me, I have found that love itself is highly inspiring.
I can definately see where you are coming from as I also havent got any true ambition besides living my life and enjoying the things I create most, valuing it over luxury anyway. To complement that, the thing I dread most is what I used to do for many years, nine to five jobs with the more than occasional late hour regimes while eating and sleeping at a minimal and repeating that over and over again. To me that is the metaphorical equivalent of death itself, something I dont ever wish to go back to.
