I am not an artist. I'm the anti-artist. I can't draw a straight line. But, I do love art.
I'm very fortunate to finally (after years of looking) to own a complete set of Dali's Divine Comedy. To say they're brilliant is an understatement. Because the colors were added separately, each looks like it's original.
I collect the magnificent Naoto Hattori's miniature paintings. The picture below in person is only 2.8" x 2.8". With the naked eye you can't see that's hieroglyphics in the eye. He doesn't use a magnifying glass when painting.
Ed Binkley is a pencil artist whose work is also wonderful and detailed.
These are the artists I love. Detailed and most important, original.
