I am just starting out, so whiteboards and colors for now, looking to expand to canvas and paint.

My inspirations so you know what direction i would be taking are Andy Warhol, Basquiat, Keith Haring and Julian schnabel.

Might I suggest using SketchBook? It is a drawing software that is very simple and you basically can hit the ground running when using it. It does not require a drawing tablet to make great artwork either.
