Hey, I'm new, I was looking for a forum for artist and it seems I've found a good one. I wanted to come here and introduce myself, my name's Lauren and I'm from Prairieville Louisiana. I'm 17, I turn 18 in January, and I'm a portrait artist. I mostly do celebrities or characters, but I do occasionally do people that I know. I hope I meet some really cool people here, and that I can make so new friends. So, how's everyone doing?

Hi Lauren, great to have you here and from one portrait artist to another can't wait to see your work. What medium do you work in? One of the greatest reasons I like artistforum.com is that it is not breakneck speeds and you are able to take your time looking and seeing what everybody is doing. I say that won't always be the case but as forums go I like being here and there are so many great talents here of all walks of life and skill levels. I look at it this way, we all have something to learn and we all have something we can share. So go ahead post your work...

Thanks for welcoming me so nicely I generally use pencil or charcoal, but I sometimes do acrylic or watercolor paint. This forum seems really fun to be apart of
