Hello! This is my first ever post so I apologize if I did anything wrong. Let me introduce myself. I am an aspiring artist and I'm wanting to pursue art as a career through social media and sites like redbubble. But before I can create a corresponding email and social media accounts to share my art with, I'm struggling to come up with a name for myself and my art. I'm 19(f) and I'm not that comfortable with using my real full name online. Also since I have such a common name, I think my art would be mixed in with all the other people who have my name.

I really love the contrast between something that is extremely beautiful and something that has a creepy almost sinister kind of asthetic. I just think it is a powerful statement. It also goes with my personality and my interests.

So far I have kind of come up with a name , however I'm not sure if it would work. I thought something like Artistic Eldrich would be interesting. It comes from the word "eldritch" which means "weird, sinister and ghostly" but I changed the spelling because I liked the way it looked better. The word "eldritch" is also an adjective, and I'm using it as a noun. I'm just concerned with people attacking me for using it incorrectly and I don't want to look like I'm stupid for using it wrong.

So does Artistic Eldrich sound lame? Would an Eldritch Artist work better? Could I use this as both my alias name and the name for my art brand/business? I'm also extremely open to new ideas!

I would love your feedback!! :)

here is what you do :

you make youtube channel where you show drawing progress and the channel name will be "female nr. 9" and your intro will be the instrumental of mambo nr 5.

although i would dig that - kidding aside - i honestly believe the name does not matter at all. its whats in it. also for the eldritch thing - im german. i didnt know about what it means and i wouldnt have googled it since its just a brand name. i just assume 99% of the people where english isnt first language behave similar.
