Help me identify this type of PAPER

This artist seems to use this type of paper frequently. It sometimes appears as though it may be somewhat transparent. I have asked her what the paper type is without receiving an answer so I'm turning to all of you in hopes you can help. She achieves really great detail even though the surface appears rough. What do you think it might be? (Artist is Sofia Perina Miller)
