Hello, my real name is Kimberly! I'm 24 and I live in Nevada. Art is something I've always loved to do, and have been doing it since i could hold a pencil really. What inspires me is everything!! especially my dogs and friends. My favorite subjects are animals (i hope to do portraits of people's pets) and also fantasy like dragons and unicorns I'm here because I would like to branch out, meet other artists and see what others think about my art, because often times my art does not get any comments which makes me believe maybe i am not cut out for art but that is not what my heart says...sometimes it also remains unseen because i am harsh on a lot of my drawings, if i dislike it i usually just stash it away, even if a family member says they like it, so here I am!

Welcome to the forum, Kimberly! I love to draw animals, too. You will find that some people will love your work and some will be critical, but something I've learned is to really take criticism to heart and see if there is something I can improve on. Some people, though, can be insensitive and harsh and you just have to take it with a grain of salt. We are our own worst critics it seems and it does help to get others' opinions, good or bad.
