I recently became the owner of some artwork. (limited edition prints, mixed media, drawings etc) About 15 pieces total. Most are framed under glass. All have a lot of grime, dirt & dust.

Is it best to just clean the glass & frames and leave as is, OR should I remove from mat & frames and reframe?

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Not sure about value. I will keep the art no matter the value, if any.

Don't change frames

Not if its very old, it's too risky to damage, and the original frame may have value or it's mixture with the piece in combination may create specific type of value.
