This is one of my first charcoal drawings. I was just playing around with it and trying to get the feel of it. I might like it better than graphite.

Good job. I've never had the control over charcoal that I have had over graphite.

Thank you. It's still awkward for me to work with, but I like how easy it is to blend in and pull out values.

I have started to use charcoal, that i bought at 'The Range' these are like using pencils, not the messy charcoal sticks. If you haven't got any of these then please try them. I also use artist brushes to blend the drawing.
