Howdy y'all. Here's some doodles. Excuse the camera quality.

I usually draw digitally and am used to having the ability to flip the canvas to make sure my drawings appear 'balanced', but on paper it seems like they sort of lean to the right, if you get what I mean.

Advice is welcome. Encouraged, even. One might even say desperately needed.

It looks like you're on the right track. If you're looking to improve your drawing skills, practice is the way to do it, and also try to hone your observational skills. The best way to do that is to study the values of whatever you are wanting to copy. How dark or light are the various different areas, and what shape are they? The more accurately you SEE, the better you will draw.

Like the last one.

For flipping the Canvas maybe this tricks could help.

Use a more transparent paper. Should be easy to flip :)
Try a mirror.
Or, take a Photo and you have a digital copy to flip.

And at last a light table could help.
Google Search

Any Light source may also be helpful ?
A Tablet, Monitor, Window ?

Keep going :)
