Hi everyone. Hope everyone is enjoying wonderful weather like we are in Arkansas. It's so nice to be able to give the AC a rest for a bit.

I did a test comparing a picture scanned by my printer into my computer vs a photo taken with my phone. WOW the scanned one came out so much better. I read it on one of the recent treads about that but can't remember which thread and who said it.....so who ever did.....thank you. Any paintings I do that will fit I will now scan instead of photo....of course I will have to wait for it to dry to do that...bummer. If I ever want to have a print made I will definitely take it one of those shops that will scan it.

Terry, I figured out pretty quick to scan my art before uploading it to Redbubble. The pics from my phone just weren't that great.

Here's what I started about a week ago, but just got back to it tonight, now that the visiting doggie is back with her mommy.
It's on a 14x17 sketchbook, which is the largest I have. I'm using colored pencils, which is something new, so we will see how the finished piece turns out.

I guess a phone is different in ways.. Because when I take a photo with my tablet.. it turns out way better (in my opinion) than the scanner (and we have a good scanner). Maybe it's the ultra up close? Maybe it's the lighting I can get with the camera.. I don't know. But I'm glad the scanner is working well for you ladies :)
