Good Morning Friends.

So glad your husband is making a quick recovery from his surgery Leighann.

We are going to the lake with 3 of my granddaughters today. I've got real mixed emotions. Love seeing them have a good time, but usually by the end of the day I'm practically a paraplegic from the aches. We are so paranoid we feel we need to be in the water when the girls are in the water and keep a vigilant eye on them. Which means a physical workout that my body just is not use to. Being grandparents is a lot of work. The good news is they will be going over to my son's house for a sleep over tonight. YAY!

We are about to head out for El Morro. He is so excited. They don't open until 9:00 but he is ready to go..lol. I told him we still have an hour before we can leave.

Have fun Chanda. The beach at the lake doesn't open until 1pm. It's going to be a long morning! It's only a 15 minute drive from here.

Trying to narrow down houses....I want to go drive around, but hubby doesn't want to. I can see this may not be as fun as I want it to be. :laugh:

I have a couple new small art pieces...Will try to get them loaded tonight.

I just realized I totally forgot to mention how the job interview went. I didn't get the job, but it was a very good conversation and when they called me later they explained that the only reason I didn't get it, was because someone else was available for more hours. They even tried to get their current parttimer to become fulltime, so I could have the parttime job, so even though I'm still looking for a job, it feels really good that I left a good impression : D

Sorry that the employer needed a full time person Inge, but it's obvious you were the best candidate for the job. So congratulations on being the best. I am of the belief everything happens for a reason. There must be a better job waiting for you.
