Good morning. Happy Sunday. What are you doing today?

Yesterday I worked on the ocean with the ships and I'm still not happy with it. Again I'm letting it dry now before I work on it more. Trouble is I'm just not liking the picture. I'm thinking about starting another one similar to it but having clear skies an a calm ocean, that would reflect my mood better. In the meantime I started two other paintings. Both of them are vases that will have daisies in them.

Seems like I bombard this site with pictures of my work and I almost feel guilty about it (well almost:vs_blush:). Being retired gives me a lot of time to work on my hobby and painting goes a lot faster than drawing.

@TerryCurley you were doing so great with flowers...why don't you perfect that instead?I understood that you have started ocean/seascapes because people bought them more than the other ones?

I walked in Paint the Park Pink yesterday in my hometown, then spent a crazy amount of hours with my sister in law and niece, searching for a formal dress. I didn't get home until after 7pm, and was so wore out I slept for 12 hours. :surprise:

I have to go over new house paperwork today, and I REALLY don't want to. :unhappy: Still so tired!! Getting old sucks!

I am, and I will continue to do flowers and such. But I like switching to other things now and then. I love doing lakes and ocean scenes too, and lots of other things as the mood strikes me.

Getting a new home is so exciting. It's a real bummer you aren't feeling up to it right now. You are too young to be feeling so tired. It's not age that is draining you, something else is.
