It's Monday again..as if you did not know!

This week promises to be a crazy busy one. I will have my granddaughter Athena here until next Sunday. We have her every holiday...it's a long story I won't go there...but I sure do love having her for the holidays. Thursday is Thanksgiving here in the States. The holidays would be so much more fun if someone else did all the cooking and cleaning involved and I could just laze out and enjoy.:vs_blush:

So folks let's chat....What are you doing this week?

I'm the fambly cook too. Love it. Got 2 turks cuz the price was .59 per pound. Got turks for $11 each! Chickens are 10 bucks. I'll smoke the turk & make cornbread & gravy, the wife will handle dressing & desert & my 92 year old mom will do much of the cleaning. Then we'll freeze 90% of it.
Finally got chilly - 50 this morn. Will still go skinny dippin this afternoon!
Pulled okra & froze it. Cukes, peppers & sqwishies growing. May get something from them or save for Feb planting. Made eggplant parm last night from our plants & 4 more left.
Trying to puzzle a cheap way to make a hot-wire foam cutter. S'about it.

Hi all -

I am still alive and kicking. I have been artistic but just not drawing artistic. Doing photo albums for the grandparents for Christmas presents.

I am finally better from the second wave of illness..still have a runny nose but I will take that.

Aside from that - just normal stuff..work..school with the kid..horseback riding. Same old stuff!

Weather is crazy..one day in the 50s the next in the low 40s. Night temps have been in the teens and single digits. Snow off and on but nothing major.

I don't have a clue what the week holds! lol. I bought stuff in case I need to make Thanksgiving dinner but I am just waiting to be given the green light that I am doing it.

Hoping you all have a wonderful day today!

I love the cooking! I just need someone following me around cleaning the mess!

Take it easy when you can Terry.

Did my first rough draft of a postcard, please checkout my post in "Sketchbook" and tell me what you think .
I will as much as I can Susan and you do the same. I will check out what you have done on the postcard.

Sorin Your 92 year old mother does the clean. WOW...we should all be able to do such things at 92. Lord bless her.

Chanda so glad to hear your cold is better. What a really nice present for your parents and parents-in-law. You are very thought full.

I did it last year and they really liked it so I think I will do it every year from here on out. It's actually from my kid to them - sort of a "my year in pictures" type thing. It is also something he can give to them as a gift from him and him alone.

Still not in college, I'll start next year. But they ask for a lot of stuff from doctors and all that. Like a blood examination, and some other things :p

This year I've been studying some informatic stuff, as web security, lot of hardware too, but I only like it a hobby so I'm changing my route, next year I'll be studying for phisical education carreer. I want to coach people :p

Social sciences, what's that exactly?
