Good morning my artist friends. I got some great news yesterday.

For years I have seen that the bank I bank at (First Security) displays art from local artists. So I thought...why not try... so I left my card with one of the managers and she said she will get in contact with the person that handles that. Yesterday I got a call from the person in charge of the art. She asked me to bring a painting so she could see a sample of my work. I did and I'm scheduled to display my rose with the droplets at the bank for the month of January. WOOOOH!

But that's not all. There are three other local artists that participate in this displaying stuff. Each displays one month at a time. So now there are four -- me being the fourth. I'm doing my happy dance. The other three are much more experienced than I am...but hey...it's Greenbrier Arkansas population around 1,500, no one is expecting a Rembrandt to be displayed and it is a great incentive for me to try harder to improve.

So I'm riding on a high right now.

@TerryCurley You should feel happy and luck then lol.NYC and NYS in general is filled with artists from allover the world...and most of them are very talented.I tell you,it's a tough competition lol But I think it's a good thing-makes me work harder and try to improve,get the best of myself.
