This morning I browsed through the 'Edit Options' feature in 'User CP' and found a few things I wanted to change. I think it would be good for all of us to give it a look-see to make the forum more to our liking.

What I changed is the sequence for viewing posts in a thread. I changed it from 'oldest first' to 'newest first'. Now I won't have to page through everything to get to the last posting.

I also changed the setting for emails. The default is to have e-mails sent on any threads you answer to or create. That can be turned off.

It sounds like you are getting things figured out around here!

It is going to be a fun day in my world. I got in my truck this morning and the passenger side window wouldn't roll down. I kept trying and trying and then I asked my son to try from his side. Still wouldn't roll down. I started getting upset because we just had a recall taken care of it and I wondered if they forgot to hook something up. Then I looked down and the child safety button (that we NEVER use) was pushed. I look over at my son and ask him "did you press the button"..he gives me a cat that just ate the canary grin. I ask him why and he shrugs his shoulders and gives me the CLASSIC "I don't know" answer. He is 8 and he pulled that off very well. He is going to be a handful when he grows up.

On the art side..I got the drawing done for my mom and everybody who has seen it loves the background..ha ha. It worked in my favor. I already have two requests from friends to do drawings so I am starting one of them today.

LOL, I have to admit I like this age. The "fits" are less and there is a hint that he is growing up, which is also bittersweet.

Sorry for your weather. Ours isn't a lot better. The mountains were getting snow last night and right now it's cloudy, windy and cold. They say that tomorrow will be better. I hope so!

Look forward to today's painting from you.

Holy mackeral. I went and got a frame for my drawing. Unfortunately finding a flipping box for the frame was like pulling teeth. I wound up using a bunch of bubble wrap and a box used to ship poster board and a lot of tape. A LOT of tape..lol. I am going to tell her to get my nephew to help her open the box. Just praying it gets there in one piece!

Naturally I forgot to put the birthday card in with the picture and realized it after I taped it all up..whoops. Oh well, just mail it I guess.
