My son is 35 today! Unbelievable! Seems like I had him two months ago.

Hubby's birthday party is tomorrow evening....think I finally have all the stuff for it. I just hope he has a good turn out.

Finished and uploaded my cat Mandala, and put a little watercolor on a canvas to take to the party tomorrow, for hubby's friends to write stuff on. I'm waiting on it to dry before I take a picture. It's very amateurish, but I did it in about 10 minutes.

100 degrees!

Another day of hot... 100 in the shade by 3pm. Picking peppers & toms, cleaning my guachie stuff & figgerin out what's next. Lotsa pool time since its Saburday. Another day in parofdice!

Happy Birthdays all around! Hope everyone is having a great day.. and staying cool in this heatwave.. You know.. it would be REALLY NICE to have just a normal 75 degree day with no storms, floods, hurricanes, earthquakes or tornadoes.. Only thing nicer would be TWO of those days.. LOL!

Ol' Oak

Think I'll begin making a replacement for the Gnome Door on my oak. It got kinda messed up by bees who built a nest in the hollow behind. They're gone but the gnome's bitching at me about crappy landlords.

Sorin, that gnome door is great!! What a fun idea. I've already decided that before next spring, I want to paint a couple of birdhouses. Every year we have a bird that tries to build a nest in our gas grill, then gets mad because we are so close to it. Firstly we should grill more often, and secondly, silly little bird.

Terry, "morals"? Ha. But I know what you mean. No, the photo is of a real oak in my back yard. Years ago a hurricane blew down a portion, leaving a large hole. The tree's base is hollow. So I cleaned up the inside to deter bugs & made a door to fit.
So far, I've shown no mural pics.
