Well I decided that revamping of that acrylic picture I was working on was not worth doing. I wasted a lot of oil paint on it (which is not cheap) and I don't seem to be improving it at all so it is now in the dumpster. I'm OK with that...I have no qualms about things like this because even with the disasters I learn something that doesn't work. I do plan to do some more revamping of older pictures that I'm not crazy about. I decided I either have to feel good about showing the picture or it's in the dumpster.

The other picture I'm working on is the bottles. Going to do a WIP on it but there isn't much to show yet. I'm waiting for the background to dry.

Kids will be coming over to swim in a couple of hours so I might get to work on the bottles tonight after they are gone.

Bottles sound like a fun challenge.. the reflections and shadows are fun to play with.. you will enjoy that project!

Don't be too hard on yourself with old paintings.. Sometimes they tend to show how far we have come! Have a wonderful day with the Grandchildren!

Love that pic Terry...the grands enjoy painting as well, I see. Our 6yr old niece Kashlee loves to paint...and color, and write on my patio with chalk, etc.

I finally ordered some business cards from Vistaprint, and have sold items on Redbubble, so I'm going to call me an official businesswoman...such as it is.

Off to the VA tomorrow with the hubby, I so love that drive...NOT!

Oh how I laughed.....I wish I was going on a vacation...VA for us means the Veterans Hospital. Lol
I've driven there so many times, I'm pretty sure my truck could drive it without me.

Whoops, my bad. You did say going to "the VA" and not going to "VA". I guess I need to read more carefully.
