Happy Thursday everyone. Today is my 49th wedding anniversary! I know John will remember, I'm the one that always over looks it. Next year for the Big 50 we are going to take a cruise. This year we might just go out to eat or if we don't feel like just wish each other a happy.

I'm so enthused about the painting I'm doing. I really think that I do better when I know I'm doing it for someone else. I can't wait to give it to Jerry....but that is a few weeks off. Need to finish it, it needs to dry, and I need to glaze it and then that needs to dry.

Hope you all have a great day.

Hey granny... 49th!? Howd you get that far? My wife called a few weeks ago to "remind" me of our 30th & she's my second "try".
Where in Arkie are you? I moved my 92 year mom from Home Stead 3 years ago. While there I spent a few days driving thru the hills taking pics. Bee-utifull cuntry.
Have fun painting, gal. I'm starting a new one too. Florida style cowboy stuff.

Happy anniversary Terry ;) You will be happy to know you've been married longer than I've been...just barely. I turn 48 tomorrow. I really don't like birthdays anymore.

Sorin, you are right, this state is beautiful. There are areas in the extreme southern part of the state that are kinda ugly, but most of the state has these small tree cover mountain areas that are breathtaking.

Congrats Terry! Happy anniversary! You should go out and eat something, taking a little time for both of you :)

I'm probably starting to upload some photos of my place today! (or tomorrow! XD) (Don't know if you remember what we talk last week, about uploading pictures in order to show where we live and some places we consider special)

I think I'll pause my current project, I can't connect my enthusiasm with it, I want to draw it but I wanted perfect and I don't see my self able for doing it as I wanted. I have some other things in mind so, lets just work on them, so I can learn more before working on this one I had started.

Hope you all have a tremendous day!

There's no trick to a long marriage, both have to stay alive and not get divorced....that's all it takes.

I live about 45 Miles north of Little Rock. Yes this year the country side is beautiful because we got lots of rain. That is not always the case, we had a few years of drought and it was all browned out...looked horrid.

Thank you for the good wishes David, Leighann, FanKi, and Sorin.

Leighann Happy Birthday, Yes I've been married long enough to be your mother. LOL My son is 43.

Daivd I thought Sorin was a young kid also but in one of his posts he said he had 50 years of art experience. UH that woke me up.

I'm looking forward to seeing some pictures of your country FanKi. Eventually I will up load some pictures of central Arkansas but I need to take them first.

Uh, not quite. OVER half a century! Started young. Bushie... I may be old but my spirit is young & full of mischief. I'll try to not get on yer bad side since yer a moberater.
I did some mural back in around '90 outside of Littlerock. At a childs' dentist. Too flat down there. I like the mountains, where the hillbillies are.

It's more flat south of here but I'm in the foot hills of the Ozarks. Not gigantic mountains like the Rockies but scenic nevertheless.
