Butterfly tell us about your art sale. I don't get onto twitter.
My paintings haven’t been selling on Etsy, so I just started selling on ArtiSouls and ArtFire to try to mix thing up a bit. Artfire tweeted my shop link to their 5,000 followers and Abstract Art News featured one of my paintings on their website and twitter. Plus people have been favoriting my paintings and I’m up to 77 twitter followers in about 4 days. I’m honored, hoping people start buying soon.

If anyone is interested:

Wow that's cool. I'm going to look into it. I need to find out about twitter. I've never used it or instagram.

I'm not happy with Etsy either. I sold something for $42 and they charged me $2.10 for sellers fee(?) and $1.54 for direct charge(?) and it was my Paypal account that was used so there was an additional Paypal fee. All in all it ate up about 10% of the profit. I offered free shipping (mistake) and since this was a 18x24 piece the cost was $17.80. So I only made about $20 after all of that. Won't do it again. I had no problems like that using Ebay.
