Happy Monday to All!

I'm in a good mood because I'm going shopping for more paint this afternoon.:vs_karate: I've been using a lot lately :vs_blush: and enjoying every minute of it.

I think today I'm going to work on the vase some of my Lilac painting. I'm going to keep it simple...maybe a very light gray (is that spelled with an 'a' or an 'e'?) with gold(ish) trim.

I decided I'm not going to do the wet on wet painting on this picture which means paint a little each day and then wait to dry. So in the mean time I need another painting to work. I'm not lacking ideas, just trying to pick one is sometimes hard.

So hope everyone has a fabulous day and I hope you share it with us.

Good morning. Trying to recuperate from my crazy weekend. wow..that was insane.

I can't wait to see your lilac painting Terry. You have evolved so much as an artist. So fun to watch.

Today..I don't know. Hopefully work on my drawing at lunch and then the evening will once again be jam packed with things to do.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

You have so much enthusiasm for drawing >.< It's contagious (?

Chanda, you are always doing a lot of things. Working, stuff Here, stuff there, taking your son somewhere or teaching him something, no time for draw house-issues must be solved, sleeping a bit, working again, stuff here, stuff there... I look up to you, you are a very dedicated mom ^^

Hmm as for me... I didn't draw the whole weekend.
I want to draw, but I don't want to draw (yeh, seriusly xD). So maybe today? Dunno

Have a nice day everyone!

FanKi, my passion is not for drawing -- not at all -- actually don't like to draw. My passion is to paint. To making things with brush strokes and color.

Chanda your life is too jammed packed. You can't enjoy when there is too much. Well...let me rephrase that...I can't enjoy, everyone is different.

LOL. I think I am hard wired for a busy life. If I had nothing to do I would probably not do so well. I have been this way for so long that I think it's a part of me. I do enjoy life though. We go camping and fishing and hunting and I enjoy watching my kid play soccer and ride his horse and participate in his awana group. Overall no complaints about my life..just some days are busier than even I like.

I had every intention of working on more sculptures, especially since my husband and I discussed a new method for a tough head position I have been wanting to try, but no sculpture was done this weekend :(
Instead I painted...unfortunately not a painting, but the kitchen walls. Needed to get done, though.

We did look at a ton of great art, though. Art in the High Desert was Friday-Sunday so we went and checked out other artists' work and got inspired. Now I am REALLY wanting to get my hands on the clay, but I have work all this week, plus studying I need to get done for my online class (getting certified as an equine masseuse).

Maybe if I set some goals I will get them done. My goal for this week: 2 new busts, 1 equine, 1 bovine.

Sorry terry, I expressed wrong. I some times use the word "Draw" or "Drawing" to reffer almost everything related to art and a shape/person/something in it :vs_blush: Lenguage and cultural issues :/

So.
