Yesterday was not the greatest of days here. We were all ready to leave to pick up Athena and my son Jim came over and said "did you know there is water in your driveway?" What happened was the water pipe coming into the house broke. So John had to stay home and get it fixed and I had to pick up Athena myself. UGH :surprise: 6 hours of driving! It's 3 hours to her house and 3 hours back.

Then when I got home one thing after another happened. The water got fixed but dirt got into the line and we had to run the water for about an hour to clear it all out. My computer was giving me fits and had to deal with costumer service. UGH! I got a letter from my doctor saying I need to come in for more tests. Why do those things always come in the mail after hours on Friday?

Today has been much better, but still kind of hectic.

Right now I'm having a glass of wine (which is a big no no for me because I'm diabetic) :vs_blush:and I have my four granddaughters with me watching an animated movie being angels. Life is good.

Speaking of wine :winetime: I had this totally awesome stuff at my brothers house last year, and he won't ever find out what it was. :unhappy: I want more!!

Last night I started a watercolor, which is totally new for me, but I need to practice. If I can get hubby to hand over the iPad, I'll upload my progress. You can't laugh though!!! :wink:

Nice saturday for me. Game day, we won :3
I had kind of bonfire with my ex Boy Scouts group, staring at fire is so relaxing... it reminds me a lot of things (I'm a bit sentimental now >.< ) So I spent a pleasurable time with old friends there.

The letter+draw I sent to my friend is still in an standby. Track system shows the same situation than before u.u I told her about, and I sent it via Facebook cuz well, at least I wanna do it that way (don't care if is a bit too late xD). She saw the message but she didn't respond, no problem, is almost midnight I didn't want her to answer now jajajaja, hope she do it tomorrow ^^

That's great that you are doing watercolor. It's fun to try different things. They say that watercolors are the hardest paint to use. Everyone has their preference. I guess you know mine by now.
