Good morning!

Do you ever have one of those "off" days where you know things are just not going to go as planned ... all day long? Yup..it's one of those days. My goal today..SURVIVAL.

Am hoping to get some more work done on my drawing at lunch but we will see. I didn't realize until I got to work that I have a dentist appointment this afternoon..and I didn't bring my toothbrush (yes I am one of those who cleans their teeth before my appointment and that is also why I do not have a cleaning lady..I would do the same thing to my house)..so anyway..I need to go to the store and pick up a toothbrush on my lunch hour. lol.

Hope to see lots of new posts and lots of new artwork today.

Morning Chanda95 and everyone. Last night I went to my granddaughters soft ball game, it did not rain after all. Her team is doing so good. They won 18 to 2. There were 4 home runs in the game. So exciting. Hope they can keep it up. Their spirits are so high and all are so enthused it's a joy to watch.

I'll probably work a little on the tiger today, the mouth section is very close to being dry enough.

My husband looked at it the other day and said 'why don't you keep this one'. For him that's one of the highest compliments ever. I said well maybe, but the next one will be better. I had to share that little tidbit because compliments from my husband are very few and far between and it made me feel real good.

That is wonderful that she is on such a good team!!! Congrats! Our soccer team this year...well the season has been extraordinarily discouraging. I love to see kids that are enthused about the game and are having fun.

That's awesome about your husband liking the piece so much. I agree with him..you are really taking your time and outdoing yourself.

We are going to Disney in a couple of weeks and there is a game the same day we fly back and Johanna wants to play in it. That's how enthused she is. The plane is suppose to land at 4:09 and the game is 6:00 and the airport is over an hour away. I don't think that can happen unless we leave the baggage at the airport. Right now the team is tied for the regional champions. Their are 23 teams from different schools in the region. Around here they take sports very seriously. Where I come from it wasn't like that.

That's great!! Sports are BAD here because that's the primary things for kids to do. VERY competitive. That's why I chose soccer because it's more laid back and not as cut throat. There a lot of traveling teams here too. Parents can be nasty. Soccer has been the best fit for us. I think it's great that she is on such a fantastic team. Absolutely something she will always remember.

I don't know how far from the airport you are but if it's not too out of the way, maybe the one of the parents on the team would pick her up at the airport? You could catch up with her after you pick up the luggage. Just a thought.
