What a beautiful spring we are having here in Arkansas. Usually we go right into Summer but not this year. Our days have been in the 70's. Lots of rain though which is making everything come so alive. Green, green, green everywhere. Wish I could capture that on canvas.

I just started two pictures and did the backgrounds and now I have to wait for the backgrounds to dry to do the next step. Grrrrrr! I'll probably start something else, I'm not a patient person at all.

Good morning! Just another day here. We don't get green and lush here until the monsoons hit but my trees and lilacs are starting to leaf out so that is nice to see. We are mostly in the 60s but do expect several days in the 40s and 50s this week and into the weekend.

I like what you have started so far! That's why I am not a painter..I like to just pick up my pencil and go..whenever I want.

I hope to draw a little bit today..we will see. I am not moving very fast today..spent the weekend laying down flooring. Pretty stiff and out of it right now.

Just got my new glasses. YAY. I really notice a different in what I can see. I didn't realize it has gotten so bad.

Very nice backgrounds! I have started a pet portrait commissioned by a regular customer. Got the background done and features outlined yesterday. Did the eye and nose detail this morning.

I'm finding it hard to paint these days with the weather so nice and so much work to do right now outside. I'm taking my time with it. They know I'm busy at this time of year.
