Went out at lunch to ACMOORE which is right down the road from me. No preference really. Hobby Lobby is a littler further so AC wins for me. At least at lunch time.


I got a small filbert synthetic #4, brand name to follow and a natural mini fluffy. I hope to improve my clouds with these.:biggrin:


I also bought some Galleria acrylic paint because Clive at Clive5Art uses this quite a bit and it's much cheaper. He doesn't seem to have any issues with it. Sap green and yellow ochre. Again, because I see these on his pallet a lot.


I'll update this after I use them and let you know what I think.

Absolutely agree. I didn't need a thing but when I down have time to paint I buy paint. It's a good thing

I have more than enough supplies. I won't be drawing much more. I got 5 lbs of clay. I will try something with it after I finish my current drawing.

I think I enjoy getting art supplies more now, than shoes, and that's saying a lot for me. I love shoes. :vs_love:

I just recently got a shipment from Blick, and already want to order more. I just wish their shipping wasn't so high. Jerry's Arterama is cheaper I think, but I can't get Micron pens there in singles.

Cannot count the number of times I have gone in to HL needing nothing but came out with something! :biggrin: My husband teases me and says the car won't pass a HL anymore. :laugh:

Well I like my new Princeton #4 filbert brush a lot. It's just what I needed for my cloud work on small canvases.
