Art Gallery/Artist question

I have recently sold some paintings in a gallery. The client who bought two of my pieces has contacted me directly and has commissioned more work. Do I owe a percentage to the gallery owner on the new painting?

Unless it's written in your original contract with the gallery... No.

You provided what you were contracted to provide.
